CONDITIONS FOR BORDER PARK GALAXY
Eight heats of the Galaxy will be conducted with the Winners of each heat to Qualify for the Final. In the event of a Dead Heat for First in a heat a Ballot of theGreyhounds involved will determine which Greyhound will Qualify for the Final. The Greyhound losing the Ballot will become First reserve for the Final and will also qualify for the 2nd placegetters consolation.
It is a condition of nomination that Greyhounds finishing 2nd in the Galaxy heats contest the Galaxy consolation.

BETTING RULES
A Bookmaker who is permitted by the Tweed Heads Greyhound Club to carry on his business at a race meeting offering odds in respect of any runner in a race (whether in respect of a race at the meeting or on any other event or contingency) shall be compelled to lay such odds, if demanded by the taker, but so that the Bookmaker shall not be compelled to lose on any one bet more than $500.

STANDARD OF DRESS
The Greyhound Racing Authority requires all Owners, Trainers, Attendants, Bookmakers & Clerks to adopt the following dreww regulations at all times at meetings.
MEN - Shoes (not being Thongs), Socks, Long Trousers (not being overalls or track suit), Dress Shorts (not being swimming trunks, board shorts, football shorts or boxer shorts). Dress shorts must be worn with long socks & shirts (not being singlets)
WOMEN - The standard of dress worn by women is satisfactory, although the Board reiterates that shoes must be worn at meetings (not thongs).
